I booked a trip on Amtrak three months ago, using a TransitChek (prepaid Visa card that I get through work) and then cancelled the trip, and the fare was redeposited onto the TransitChek Visa, which thus has a balance of a few hundred dollars on it.

Of course I then lost the TransitChek Visa.

I can get it replaced if I provide the full number to the issuer, but the Amtrak email receipt I have lists only the last four digits.

Is there any quick and easy way of getting Amtrak to send a copy of the original booking to me, which would list the full TransitChek Visa number?

I don't think that any merchant will ever provide anything with the full credit card number on it. I'm fairly sure it's against merchant regulations and/or security laws.

Can your employer go through their records and provide you with the number?

In the future, it's probably a good idea to keep a record of the account number when you receive one of these prepaid cards.
