Religious Travelers - Anybody Attend The Hillsong Conference This Year?

Mrs Flies and I were Down Under in late June, but couldn't stay in OZ long enough to go to the conference. We're curious if any FTers went, and, how you liked it? We did manage to go to Hillsong Church for their Sunday service on June 21, which was awesome enough!

We watched what we could stay up for on the on-line God TV and Australian Christian Channel. Our highlights from the video, included:

1. Jentezen Franklin -- what a great message!
2. Reuben Morgan leading worship, especially Yahweh.
3. Brooke Fraser Ligertwood leading worship. She blew us away when she sang The Stand in a lower "girl key." I've never heard anyone other than Joel Houston sing this song.

We'll have to rely on You Tube for the rest!

I think timing and money is bit much for U.S. based christians. Many of the former Hillsong artists are based in the U.S. now, there is really no reason to go downunder unless you are already there. I really want to see the Planetshakers though.

I figured Brian Houston would reprise the Houston event, in the US. :)

There were enough killer MR Deals for any interested FTers.
