Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - TK flights YYZ-IST seat selection

Hey guys,

I booked my Xmas trip. We are leaving on the 17th of December YYZ-IST with TK and returning on the 28th of December DXB-IST-YYZ. I am trying to do seat selection for these flights and I am having no luck. Can someone help. The type is an A330 and 737-800 for these flights, however do you guys think they might switch the YYZ-IST portion to an A340?

TK does not offer seat selection this far in advance. Long haul is 90 days ahead of the flight and short haul is just 1 week before departure.

I have found the TK/THY Canadian GSA office in Toronto to be actual more helpful than the toll-free number that transfers to IST. Their English range from dreadful to passable in my experience.

The gentleman I spoke with at the GSA office was keeping note of my IST-TBS short haul flights and will assign me seats on the day they come available. Pretty good service, albeit a bit old school.

WOW this airline seems to be in the dark ages? dont they have computers.:p
