Rome, 22 July 2009 – Alitalia widens its international and intercontinental network with 13 new
destinations operated in codeshare with Air France/KLM:
• Honk Kong, Singapore, Montreal (from August), Dakar, Abidjan, Lisbon and Nuremberg (via
Paris);
• Dubai and Berlin (via Paris or Amsterdam);
• Stuttgart (via Paris or Lyon);
• Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Cape Town (via Amsterdam from August).
Alitalia and Air France/KLM have also increased the number of codeshare flights via Paris and via
Lyon; all the following destinations can now be reached via both cities:
• Brest, Clermont-Ferrand, Nantes, Pau (Pyrenees), Rennes, Strasburg, Toulouse, Montpellier
Hamburg and Birmingham

Besides the intercontinental codesharing I found the other destinations quite ridicolous. Maybe that's a way to pay off AF-KL...
Frankly I wouldn't pass through AMS or CDG to go in Germany or Portugal.
Let me say that also the prices of codesharing towards South Africa are even more ridicoulous. Actually the quote around 2300 Euros the cheapest MXP-JNB in Economy.... while with Turkish you can reach CPT and JNB with 800 Euros... in a better plane and with more miles.

Interesting. I wonder if we'll start to see AF codeshare flight numbers on international AZ flights ex-FCO. Perhaps to KIX, NRT, DEL, DXB, etc..
