May be taking a flight out of FRA to JNB via IST. Need to know if Turkish Air charges infant fares for children under 2. Having a real hard time understanding the operators in IST when I call. If they do, how much?

can someone help?

Thanks

Infant price as a regular price should be %10 percent of adult ticket.

Flown on TK with infant numerous times. They charge the standard tax, which typically works out at about 10% of an adult ticket. They are great with kids and they always take/deliver stroller at the gate, unlike most airlines. The lounge at IST has great children facilities as well. Playroom, etc.

Thanks SETHKIM about that 10% info.

We are traveling on an award ticket in C class. I am wondering how much to budget for our infant's ticket? I have called Turkish Air and cannot seem to get straight answer. Will they charge us 10% of lowest C fare, full Y fare, or full fare C? That is my question.

Thanks

All about your ticket. If Its C than %10 of C otherway Y than %10 of Y

If award ticket then it depends on the programme which you booked the ticket with. I booked using BD miles and there is no miles charge (only some tax) for infants. I would just call your FF programme and ask them to add the infant to the booking.
