AirTran Airways A+ Rewards - Back to Back Flight Question

I am going to be flying on airtran soon for most of my flights because there prices are excellent.

But I don't want to have to wait to get status so I was wondering if the fallowing would be allowed? or if it is frowned upon.

I saw airtran has a promo where if you fly from Baltimore to Boston you get 2 a+ credits each way so I was wondering if it would be possible to fly 2 back to back roundtrip flights in 1 day to get 8 credits so I would get my status since I already have 2 credits? or is this not allowed by the airline?

I see there are several flights a day and there is 30 minutes between each flight so I am guessing it is the same plane or 2 going back and forth correct? I just wonder what the flight attendants will think seeing me on each flight.

Their computers might flag that as something weird, since you'd have two reservations for the same itinerary on the same day. But I can't say for sure since it's a short route and someone could feasibly do two round trips in one day.

Why don't you just space them out by a day? People who do MRs do tight turns all the time, so I doubt they would look at you funny if you got off the plane in BOS and turned right back around.

You only get 1 A+ Reward credit for each one-way flight (so two credits for a round-trip). Any additional credits per segment are posted as bonus credits, not flight credits.

Only flight credits could toward elite status.

You can definitely make multiple round trips on the same day to earn APlus credits - I did so last year.

However, newsmanhoss is correct that only flight credits count toward elite status - you need to make 8 more flights within 90 days to qualify for elite status.

ok, thanks for your help everyone. I did not realize that the bonus credits where not the same as flight credits. I guess the trip would not be as worth while as I thought it would just to get status.
