Finnair Plus - Finnair Checked Luggage Reliability?

It's a while since I have needed to check luggage on Finnair. I know that some people have experienced problems, with slow luggage delivery at HEL and luggage missing connections.

I will shortly be traveling AY short-haul to HEL, connecting to an AY long-haul flight. Does anyone have any recent experience that would indicate how well or how poorly Finnair are handling luggage transfers at the moment?

On the outbound I have a relatively long wait at HEL, so I could always pick-up and re-check my luggage, but would clearly prefer not to do so.

Usually, my luggage made the transfer. Only once, when the connecting flight was cancelled, they rebooked me, but not the bags. It took them three days to arrive at the final destination (which is served daily) - and then they wanted me to go to the airport to collect it. Fortunately, my hotel concierge sorted that out, telling them that the have to deliver it to the hotel ...

Thanks swiss_global. So based on a sample size of one it doesn't seem to be too bad at the moment. Hopefully my transit time in both directions should be long enough to allow my luggage to connect.
