So I might want to redeem some ANA points for travel with non-family members. I am surprised I have not found a thread talking about this. If I just put non-family members as my in-laws, I would figure the different last name would not be an issue. Also, I assume, ANA would really only check when one adds names to the Award User Registration, as since you can do most bookings online, everything should just flow through to ticketing. Since most of my redemptions won't be on ANA metal, it is not like at the gate, SIN or UA are gonna ask me to show marriage licenses and stuff.
Any comments on experiences redeeming tix for friends and other non family.
Heck, what if I had a fiance and wanted to go somewhere, until we are married, she technically is not family.
Thanks for any insight.
