Asiana Club - Mileage required for UA domestic 2-class F award?

For a *A award in F on a UA domestic 2-class aircraft, are you charged the *A C or F mileage for an award?

For such an award on AA, BA charges the 3-class F rate, which isn't fair, IMHO. You ought to be charged the C rate. But US/UA reciprocate at the C rate, so I'm curious about OZ.

I am not sure about the answer but I wouldn't really consider it to be unfair because you also get F miles when flying F in the US.

You should call and ask, and let us know :)

For CX case of C award including AA's domestic sector, I heard they get Y seat instead of F when it is F-Y 2 class aircraft. I expect OZ will do similar.

I believe in *A, if one books C award and it's not available on a US domestic segment, one gets bumped to 2-class F provided award seat is available in that class.
