I heard today that the Miami MO is to join NYC and London as the hotels with $200 credit instead of the free second night. Apparently a few more are also on that list which will be sent to cardholders soon.
So this is what the huge hike in fee is about??!

Silver lining for the MO in Hong Kong: they currently have a third night free promo with Amex, which means you get the free night and the $200 credit... Of course that buys essentially nothing at the spa, but it's better than a kick in the shins...

I just got turned down for a free night in Boston. Is that right?!?!? No BOS either?!??
