Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Turkish First Class LHR to IST

I read a great review of a First Class Flight from heathrow to Istanbul. It wasn't the Dellas review ( which was also fascinating). Does anyone have the link please.

i fully agree with the review however don t count on people staring at you as though you were a star ( i think the guy who wrote this review watched kevin costner advert a lot)

i really appreciate the ground service - you ll be helped out a lot - very helpful and polite TK staff - the TR champagne is great

food both in the 1st class lounge and onboard is perfect although it was more tasty in the lounge

the staff is really excited to serve you in the lounge - it s their new product and they got pretty good training

the staff onboard is pretty ok but they are not as good as the one on the ground

i m flying them again in august and hope the service will be as good as some months ago

i ve never flown out of LON - whihc lounge can you use there?

is it the Virgin Clubhouse?

in IST when i transit from LHR to hkg flight my time is tight how long will i need in transit?

TK ground staff will pick you up in IST and you will be taken by a buggy to the 1st class lounge - all takes several minutes - i guess max 10 min for you to reach the lounge

excellent shower and served good food that you need to order (food on the shelves is basically the same as in C class)

you are not changing terminals

and then another 3 min to get to the gate

give them clear instructions what you want to do - speak slowly and articulate well - their english is not perfect but they are very polite and will help you out
