American Express Membership Rewards - Double MR points on gas and groceries

This is probably old news to FT regulars but I just got a postcard from AMEX offering 2X MR points on gas and groceries through March 15, 2010. Just go to americanexpress.com/counttwice and enroll eligible cards or call 800-794-1308 and use promo code 139150001.

According to the postcard, this is valid for charges beginning back to March 15, 2009, so I'm guessing I just may be late to find out about it.

It's actually a very good promotion, I signed up both my AmEx cards and the bonus points show up few weeks later

It is old news (announced here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/american-express-membership-rewards/935575-double-points-gas-groceries-returns-registration-required.html) by the top dog himself!), but it is also quite a good deal, if your cards are eligible. Sadly, mine are not. :(
