Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I have never travelled ANA.

I have just booked an award on NH 954 in FEB10 in C. The a/c is a 767-300. All TG and NH flights had availability in C so should a choose differently? I have been on TG many times and know the difference between 777, 744 and 747, but no expirience with NH. How is C class seats on this a/c and C service BKK-NRT on the morning flight (rather than the red-eye flights)?

Thx

The NH 767 seat will be better than the TG 747 (old config), but not as comfortable as the TG 744 (new config).

Have not flown TG recently but NH C is generally a very good experience.

I'd take TG new C over NH. But NH over TG's old C.

On random dates this month July 2009 NH is swapping 772 Long Haul seats on the BKK sector. I presume the 763's are due for service.

TG's new seats are better than Club ANA Asia seats.

IMO, TG's inflight service is better than the NH service. Also, since you will be flying ex BKK, if booked on a TG flight you can use the Spa in the TG lounge free of charge.

The C seats are better on TG because they get flat, whereas NH seats do not relcine enough for good sleep. What I like about flying C on NH is that their food is probably better than that of TG.

Morning flight ex-BKK are nearly always with new seats for TG either the 744 or the odd 346.
You will get priority lane to go through passport control out of BKK and have a 30 minutes massage at the spa
Food would be similar on both
I prefer the TG service but NH is more predictable (the a/c will be spotless, on time, safe, at a bridge gate, etc.)
I also prefer TG's 'new' seats over the 767 NH seats but much prefer NH seats over TG's old C
