If I book a Fairmont hotel through expedia or another third-party site, are these credited as full stays/nights? Is it any different if I book through priceline? Thanks!
Fairmont President's Club - Third-party website bookings (expedia) - do they count as "stays"?View Full Version : Third-party website bookings (expedia) - do they count as "stays"? propofol Jul 11, 09, 10:57 am If I book a Fairmont hotel through expedia or another third-party site, are these credited as full stays/nights? Thanks! will5404 Jul 11, 09, 3:33 pm Here are the rates that are not qualifying taken from the Terms & Conditions on www.fairmont.com : Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to limit membership benefits, airline miles and room night credits to qualifying room rates. Travel industry rates including airline crew rates, travel agent rates and tour group escort rates will not be considered qualifying rates toward member status. Certificates are not eligible for redemption on travel industry rates, airline crew rates, travel agent rates, tour group escorts rates, packages and promotions. This is what I got from FPC customer serivce when I asked a few months ago. If you see a lower rate give the presidents club line a call and ask them to match it, that way its booked through fairmont and you get the better rate. propofol Jul 11, 09, 4:18 pm Thanks for the advice! edmonton2001 Jul 16, 09, 1:24 am rates booked on expedia are going through as stay credits but do not qualify for airline points. just make sure your fpc number is on file as the hotels do not get the information from expedia. either let the reception agent know or call ahead to put the fpc number on file. |
