Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Is *G apparent to TK?

I just called THY and inquired about my SK FFP No. in a booking. The agent was able to see the FFP No. but could not see any elite status attached to it :(

Does this mean that TK does not recognise elite status of other FFP than Miles&Smiles? Sorry, but I have never been on TK before; how will *G status appear on a TK boarding pass? - as SK*G (which means that elite status is recognised) or evidence of elite status at all?

Do you need the FFP card at check-in and to enter the lounge in IST? (at most *A lounges it is sufficient that elite status appear from the BP)

Is it possible to change FFP No. at online check-in?

Your TK BP will have *G noted. Sometimes at the TK lounge the person has asked for my *Gold card, but other times they have seen the BP and waved me through at TK lounge at IST. No need to worry.

Generally the BP is all that you need. I should note that TK does seem to have a bug in their systems regarding *FFP numbers, inasmuch as you better make sure when you return that they input your number again as it never seems to stick for the return journey.

As a KF Gold with SQ, SQ*G appears on my TK boarding passes, but in 6 flights with them, my FFP number never did. However, I make it a point to show the card and have them key in the number and the points do post to my KF account without fail, even if the number did not appear on my BPs.
