American Express Membership Rewards - New Delta fee?

I found the wording confusing, so wanted to see if others agree that existing cardholders are still fee-less?

As of August 15, 2009 we will no longer offer a discount on the annual fee to Delta Skymiles Cardmembers who have a separate, qualifying charge card account. This change does not apply to cardmembers who are already receiving the discounted annual fee before that date and continue to maintain their qualifying charge card account.

Gold: $95
Plat: $150

I had thought it might've been addressed, but when searching the forum under "Delta", that thread didn't appear. Thank you.
