Las Vegas - City Centre construction - noise? disturbance?
Good Day...
Anyone recently stay at Monte Carlo or Bellagio? I would be interested to know of the noise factor related to construction at City Centre.
Thank you.

I've stayed at Monte Carlo several times and Bellagio once during construction at City Center. I found the noise to be a minor factor even when my hotel room faced the construction, and virtually non-existent when it didn't. I should admit, though, that I am a sound sleeper and fairly oblivious to noise, so perhaps my reaction may be in the minority.
Any room that faces the construction presumably also faces I-15, and traffic on that highway also produces a background noise in the room. Again, it has never been a problem for me, but the traffic noise does exist.
During check-in at the Monte Carlo you can request that your room face away from the construction, and they will try to accommodate you. Also, ask for a high floor, which should reduce the noise. I always request (and get) a high floor, not because of noise issues, but because I like the more expansive view from a high floor.

You sound like you have first hand experience and know far more than I do, but regarding the "high floor" - well, City Center is already taller than Monte Carlo and Bellagio, so not not exactly sure how that will help reduce sound - but it will certainly make your view better!

Most of the noise seems to originate from activities at ground level. My most recent stay at Monte Carlo was a month ago with my room facing construction, and there was nothing too noisy happening at high levels. Incidentally, I kinda enjoyed the view of the construction; it is truly on such a massive scale. Most impressive!

Apparently, you had a better look than the building inspectors! Bah-dum-spish. I'll be here all week. :D
