Delta is dropping Atlanta and Cincinnati. American is dropping St. Louis. Not much of a surprise on Cincinnati and St. Louis but Atlanta hurts.

CID has spent so much money upgrading the airport. I hope they don't lose service to Denver and Chicago.

I can't believe it some of few specific routes has been discontinuation. So DL will able come back in the future. So unfortunately for DL will be no longer existing for ATL/CVG-CID. What about NW still served out of CID-MSP/DTW, am I correct? I tought the loads are very successful for ATL/CVG-CID.

As the article points out, MLI undercuts CID a lot when it comes to ATL because of Airtran. Jsut do fare search on www.airfarewatchdog for MLI and most of time it's Airtran. Delta also dropping out of Dbq as reported in another thread; it's economy. I doubt ORD and DEN will slow down that much that UA would consider dropping/cutting service. Both out of MLI/CID those planes are usually full, especially to DEN.
