It's not a particularly attractive fare given the grim service, the lack of "support" and no miles at all.
SQ has been offering lower fares via SIN, also without miles :(, but with service levels streets ahead and the promise of back-up if things go wrong...

You can easily get your hands on tickets on this route for around £300 return all in. I just priced one now and even that is too expensive when you consider what SQ have bene offering to Asia/Australiasia recently.
Or do you mean this fare is for business class? In that case it is pretty good.

Don't think belongs here as you get no miles.
However, can be used for positioning flights to London ;)
One-Way fare KUL-STN is from GBP 87.50
I've moved this LCC (and no FFP so no miles, frills, thrills etc) fare to Budget Travel (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/budget-travel-597/).
Because AK doesn't have a mileage earning FFP it's not a fit for the Other Asian FFPs forum.
Anyone considering Air Asia would do well to join the mailing list for both AK and Malaysia Airlines, so that you can get a deal if there is a fare war.
AK regularly has 'free' + taxes etc sales, so you should be able to find much better deals, though it will likely be restricted dates.
LCC airline fares do not belong in the Mileage Run Deals forum for obvious reasons - no status nor miles, nor any frills one might expect on a 'Deal'... just the cheapest possible airline and possible sale tickets, without any of the flexibility of a full-service airline!
It's a completely different proposition, IMO.
PS. It's best to advertise prices in USD. 500GBP is currently $817.
