Air New Zealand Air Points - Is NZ departure tax now included in all tickets?

Showing how long it's been since I flew in or out of NZ, I find that I now don't know whether NZ departure/airport taxes have now been incorporated into the tickets or still need to be paid manually at the airport. I thought I remembered reading that prepaid taxes had now been implemented at last but now I can't find any reference to it. Could someone please advise?
My parents are shortly setting off on a RTW, and I'm not sure what advice I should be giving them. They can't tell by looking at their ticket whether they have prepaid it or not! Their itin starts in BHE but their international port of exit is AKL, if that makes a difference?
thanks :)

Its definitely (finally...) gone at AKL - I'm sure someone knowledgeable will be along to tell us the code that it is listed on the ticket under.
Think it is still in place in CHC though, and perhaps WLG...
domestically still ROT has a $5 departure charge, and I think PMR something similar.

Yes it is still in place and required to be paid separately in CHC - saw the 'express' departure tax machines yesterday. And sure it applies at WLG as well.
In relation to International flights only:
Into and out of AKL it's included in the http://www.footy.org.au/ppplus.bmp (Listed as "KK") when you purchase your ticket. It's NZD13.50 and payable for both arrival and departures. It would be paid twice if you have, for example, an AKL-Oz-AKL booking.
Departing from CHC and WLG it's of course NZD25 and there is nothing payable for arrivals.
So to save on this you can arrive into NZ at either WLG or CHC and depart from AKL and pay only NZD13.50. The opposite is to arrive into AKL and depart from WLG/CHC and pay NZD38.50.

All international departures bar AKL you need to pay $25NZD. AKL has a $13NZD departure and arrival charge incorporated into the ticket price.
PMR, HLZ and ROT are the only domestic charges you must pay at the airport. From what I can remember.

it's still NOT included in prepaid taxes collected by the airline or travel agent. :td:
CHC Airport want to get their hands on the hard $. Departure tax is definately payable in CHC on departure, even if like me, in March, you spent less than 24 hours there on the way back from PPT. You can pay with some credit cards though.:td:

Interesting I used to get the exemption of under 24 hours at AKL. You needed to show the previous BP at the Travelex to get the sticker. Now with the prepay option, if the flights are not on the same ticket you get hit by the fee.:(

Am I right in thinking that when I leave NZ by flying WLG-AKL-LAX, as I shall be doing in November, I shan't have to pay any additional departure tax as the first flight is a domestic sector and AKL won't levy a separate charge when I change to international. Or does WLG collect tax on all departing international passengers, even those who are taking a connecting domestic flight first?

ROT is to charge the $25 tax at the airport on the ROT-SYD services

There will be no extra fees to pay, the $13.50 for AKL will be in your fare. WLG-AKL will be counted as a domestic sector, so no fees at WLG. Unless you buy an over priced bottle of water from them:)

Thanks for the welcome clarification. The (first and) last time I left New Zealand (on a flight from Auckland some years back), the departure tax came as a surprise and I had just changed all my NZ dollars into something else.
I'll drink the free water when I get to the lounge, thanks!
