Does anyone know if the bonus airline miles are credited for gift card purchase or gift card use? I am checking out within the next few days and would like to buy the gift cards, but I if I switch to mileage earning today I will loose lots of points for this stay. The Gift Card service center said the miles will post 4-6 months after ...purchase or use...I don't think they are very clear on the rules.
