My friends and I are attending a wedding service in vegas July 4th (I know they cannot afford their own fireworks!) But we are need of a reliable, recommended babysitting service! We need on maybe even for 2 nights. The hotel want to charge us 45$ a night!
Anyone used a service before? As you can imagine, we are in 2 minds, go with the hotel for reliability, but then again, we would rather give the cash to someone worthy!
Thanks for you help -= Oh we leave here (UAE) on Thursday 2nd July.......
Another baby-sitting thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/las-vegas/831312-las-vegas-baby-sitter.html)
Seems like $45 is the going rate (Ouch)

Wow...that's VERY reasonable!! I can't even get a teenager from our neighborhood to babysit for $45 a night.

$45 a night seems reasonable but it looks more like $45 an hour from that other thread!
I live in Vegas and some of my friends have kids so I can give you a referral for one of the local babysitters if you send me a PM. They'd probably charge you something reasonable in the range of $10-15 an hr.
I would take no responsibility whatsoever other than giving you the phone number of the babysitter so proceed at your own risk. That said, they're good friends so I doubt you'd have any problems.
