You're looking for a 7-passenger vehicle (minivan or large SUV, essentially) for 4th of July weekend and you just started your search three days before your travel?! Good luck, those vehicles sell out months in advance for holidays. Your best and cheapest bet will be to rent two economy vehicles.

Used car mom and pops might still have some availability. But that might not meet your needs, in terms of geographic mileage restrictions and caps.
