I just wanted to show my appreciation for a fine airline! I recently flew a combination of trans-Pacific and trans-Tasman flights and thought that all of the staff - from the FA's to the GA's to the lounge personnel, were top notch. I had a few glitches - a tight transfer in LAX (not due to NZ), a surely TSA official who told me it sucked that I was at the back of an hour-long queue for a daily flight that left in 30 minutes, and then a lost bag. But a friendly NZ ticketing agent personally escorted me through security, then the GA said "don't worry, we're here for you" - something I NEVER hear on a domestic airline. Then the lost bag incident was no incident at all, and it was delivered to me the next day with a small amount of cash for my troubles. Nevermind the fantastic onboard service (I was in business). Thanks NZ!
