sorry; have done a search and can't find much recent on this. Hope it's not a standard question!
Can anyone predict what type of seats are usual in Prestige on this route, please?
And, bearing in mind a likely/potential KE flight LON- SYD later in the year, onward from ICN-SYD.
Thanks,

according to the KE website, ICN-LHR-ICN flight has regular first class sleepers and prestige plus in business.

LHR-ICN(KE907/908) is usually runs by 74B version which has old first class and new prestige plus class (1st generation of new seat) seat.
HL7402/04/60/61/65/73/88/89/93/94/95 operate LHR flight.
So far, ICN-SYD (KE121) is run by 332/333 with old first and business class seat, but they're going to upgrade to 744 in later this year. We don't know which version of 744 will fly this route.. I guess it's going to have new seats since KE has only 3 old 744s out of 22, and they're going to be converted to the cargo plane soon.

That means "lay flat but slide gently to the floor" seats for J?

Close. Prestige Plus on LHR-ICN features 60" pitch "lay flat but slide gently to the floor" seats, which come up as 'C' class.

The 'J' bucket on KE now connotes the brand new 180 degree flat 74" pitch business class seat, as found on the 77W, and whichever planes will be retrofitted with those (one 772 a month starting this fall, to begin with).

there are select 772's in the current fleet that have the new Y and J but with previous first class (kosmo sleeper) that were retrofitted since late 2008. difference also is the IFE. it has panasonic eX2 system. 77W, newer aircrafts and aircrafts to be retrofitted will have Thales.
