This is just an FYI to everyone posting information about Hertz Car Rental on flyertalk that we have finally launched a Facebook page.

We want to use Facebook as a primary place to get feedback and suggestions from customers (among other things). There is a discussion board over there as well, where you can post your thoughts and ideas about what you would like to see from us.
We aren't trying to replace flyertalk by any means. We've been following the conversations here for some time, even if it might not have seemed that way because we weren't responding. That's all changing, but it's likely we're going to be responding far more to Facebook comments.
A special thanks to those Hertz employees who took it upon themselves to try and provide high-quality Hertz customer service on this forum and a further thanks goes out to anyone else who has ever helped another Hertz customer on our behalf. There are a lot of you out there and we are very grateful.
Oh, yeah. I should mention a special place we have for the "Ride Reports" which do get discussed often at Hertz. In our current Facebook poll, we ask the Hertz fans if they want to see information from "Car Enthusiasts". That whole concept came from the efforts put forth by those of you who write the Ride Reports. I just thought that was worth noting.
Thanks again for keeping the Hertz conversation going on flyertalk and we look forward to hearing from you as we go forward.
