Hilton HHonors - Minibar Charge I don't think I should have...worth calling about?

Last week my girlfriend and I enjoyed a "staycation" at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. We brought some drinks and snacks from home and removed a few items from the minibar to make room for them in the fridge. Now, she was in charge of putting this all away and claimed that everything was returned as we found it. However, I have a charge on my e-folio for "Honor Bar - $9". Is it worth calling them and claiming that we didn't enjoy anything from the minibar? After all, she could be wrong/lying.

i would assume my girlfriend was telling the truth and call up and try to sort it out. But for me since it is $9, if I couldnt fix it fairly quickly i would let it go and forget about it ... each to their own and some would pursue out of principal.

I had a small but unexpected minibar charge from ES a few months ago. I called & left a message with the hotel's billing manager stating I thought it was a mistake. He called back and volunteered to reverse the charge without argument. For small charges like $9 it's not worth a huge letter-writing campaign, but it's worth 1 or 2 telephone calls.

I've had erroneous charges show up at check out and have always had them reversed without issue. I'd make a quick call to the hotel, but as others have said probably not worth spending too much time on.

Even if it's minimal, I tend to think it's worth bringing up just to keep them honest.
