I'm arriving in the morning at DME and leaving in the evening out of SVO. Can anyone recommend a place to store my luggage in central Moscow so I can do some sightseeing during the day?

There are lockers at every railway station - including the ones trains to/from DME and SVO serve. No idea about their prices, though...

Probably guarded baggage storage too I would think. I know there is at numerous train stations in Moscow and Kiev at least.

Internet search showed that Savelovskiy railway station (the one serving Sheremetyevo Aeroexpress) does not have lockers (but nearby Rizhskiy railway station does). :p

If arriving at DME, the easiest is to take the Aeroexpress to Paveletskiy railway station and leave the suitcases there until later.

Just a note - if you are leaving out SVO-1 at night, Aeroexpress will get you to SVO-2 and then there are reasonably priced transfer buses running to SVO-1 with departures coinciding with Aeroexpress train arrivals. Otherwise, there is no public transportation between the terminals at night - all the buses stop running between two terminals about 10pm-ish.

I just read this at the Aeroexpress website:
http://www.aeroexpress.ru/en/registration/

and it looks like the easiest thing would be just to go to Aeroexpress' at Savelovskii railroad station and just check in for the flight (up to 15 hours prior domestic departure). No need to store bags then. This is what I am planning to do in August when arriving in DME but departing from SVO.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not actually checking bags so I can't register them ahead of time for the SVO. Based on the responses, it'll probably be easiest to leave my bags at the Paveletsky station since it's only a few stops to Red Square.
