Are there any blogs about FFs or women travelers, etc. that you would recommend?

Sorry no one's been able to help you out. I don't have the attention span to read blogs (aside from lucky9876coins' (http://boardingarea.com/blogs/onemileatatime/)), but I thought I'd drop in and say "Welcome to FT!"

Journey Woman is a useful website. Not so much a blog per se, but lots of useful information.

I recommend http://mariejavins.blogspot.com Marie is a comic book colorist who enjoys traveling to unusual places. She enjoys flying but focuses mainly on her adventures and her every day activities. In 2000, she went around the world; however, she avoided flying (I know that is a horrible sin to many members of Flyer Talk) and instead journeyed by train, freighter, ocean liner, and other unusual forms of travel. She also documented her time spent in Africa. She has travelled to Asia, Antarctica, South America, Australia, Europe, and throughout the US. She She is currently writing about her trip to Morocco. She is honest, amusing, and adventurous.

Another travel blog that I read is www.wired2theworld.com . Kristina is a chef who travels with her husband, friends, and/or her mother. Years ago, she and her husband travelled around the world and blogged about the events. Her website has all of her travels archived.

Her posts are interesting and she is extremely detailed; she obsesses about everything (like I do).

Thanks FlyForFun for recommending my blog!
I found this post by looking at my stats for www.wired2theworld.com
While I participate in a lot of tavel forums, I've never done so here, but now I'm a member!

I just got back from 2 weeks in Vietnam (used up all my hoarded AA miles to fly business, btw) and am in the process of writing it up on my site.

If you're into food, I also have a food blog at http://formerchef.com

I also liked Marie Javin's RTW blog back in 2000, so thanks for the link to her new one!

Welcome to FlyerTalk! I've been reading your trip reports since I found your website where you wrote about your around-the-world trip. Your reports are some of the best that I have read and I always look forward to your trips. I read your first installment on the Viet Nam trip and cannot wait to read more. I also enjoy reading your trips that you take with your mother; in fact, they are required reading for my mother. We often take trips together. We were actually in Paris last fall around the same time that you were there. I swear I am not a stalker - just someone who appreciates well-written, entertaining, and informative reports.

FlyerTalk is an excellent resource for tips on maximizing mileage and then taking trip using minimal miles. You may never have to fly coach again.
