Great Report! We visited Bhutan for 11 days last October. We flew into Paro from Bangkok via Druk Airways. We only got as far as Bumthang so your report on your travels to eastern Bhutan was interesting. We found Bhutan to be a wonderful place and it's people are so hospitable. There's absolutely no hassling of tourists as is the case in most south asian countries. We liked it so much that we're hoping to return in 2009.
