Just booked these great rates.
July 4th, Westin Tampa Westshore. 4th of July package to include any two items at Starbucks. $99. When you include the complimentary Club Room, this is almost a freebie.
July 10th W Atlanta Perimeter. Breakfast package includes $16 towards breakfast per person up to two people $105. Take off the breakfast and thats only $73 for the room.:D
Add in the free night promotion for these two stays and you have the icing on the cake.:p
While others are singing the blues about this economy, it seems to be working out pretty good for me.^^^^^

Great deals if you can afford to throw out some cash. Unfortunately, some folks can't afford to spend $49 on hotels room when they have lost their jobs.

That's the point...

Even for free is not possible for those people who have lost their jobs, if the hotel is a long way from their home...

If I was unemployed I would be getting a job instead of posting on FT. Of course we all have different priorities.

Shame on me, I am enjoying the low rate for this economy downturn as well. And, I love it pretty much. ...

I refuse to feel guilty about a great rate. There is way to much guilt around anyway. Did these hotels feel guilty charging you $250 when the economy was good? Hell no.
It is now time to enjoy these great rates.

No kidding on these rates. Booked a room in Phoenix for $61 with tax. I needed one more night to hit my 5th FFN. Many great deals around Phoenix this weekend with a few $59 rooms.

That's part bad economy and part Phoenix is miserable in July.

Now, come on! It is only supposed to be 102 degrees tomorrow.

Saturday and Sunday are supposed to hit 109 and 108 degrees respectively, though. :p
