Travel Technology - Best Blackberry Apps???

I am stuck with my Blackberry 8830 for the foreseeable future due to an indentured servitude contract with Verizon--at least I don't drop calls.

The Blackberry App store seems to be rather lacking and horribly difficult to navigate. That said does anyone have favorite apps? Anything particularly useful?

I heard the email app on the BB is pretty good....haha... JK :)
