Hilton HHonors - Using Doubletree Vouchers - Hotel Recommendations?

Hi,

I've got 2 Doubletree Vouchers that expire at the end of November (from a previously botched reservation - all worked out). We're looking for a nice Doubletree.

Any suggestions?

We're in the Boston area, and probably not interested in NYC (we've got enough friends to stay with there). Ideally looking for a weekend away, pool would be nice, etc.

So where would you guys recommend?

Baltimore or DC nice? I see the recent Chicago addition and looking forward to hear about it.

I think theWit is the new DT in Chicago you're referring to... would probably be a great use of the voucher if you're interested in visiting ChiTown. The Doubletree Suites Time Square would probably be my first choice, but you said NYC is out. The DT Puntarenas in Costa Rica is all-inclusive, but I'm guessing that is disallowed by the voucher?

Otherwise, I would pick a destination you're interested in first and then look for a nice DT... if you can't find one, move on to another destination. Otherwise, you might risk a destination you're only marginally interested in and end up with a marginally interesting trip. Also, if you're looking to maximize space, remember there are some all-suite DT locations, so keep an eye out for those.
