Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Best restaurant in SYD (for a great, quick, early lunch)

Here's a challenge!
I will be in SYD for lunch on Thursday. I will be flying in that morning (arriving 0510 local) and leaving again at 1550. Shouldn't need a hotel sleep as arriving and departing in J, so I thought I would have lunch.
Where would the board recommend for an early lunch of top quality food in SYD? I guess I need to be back at the airport by 1400-1430 (hopefully checked in online for the BA flight home)...
All suggestions gratefully received.
Many thanks.

I had lunch at Marque (http://www.eatability.com.au/au/sydney/marque/) the other week. I would certainly recommend their $45 3 course set menu Friday lunch, I'd say the best value meal in the world. Unfortunately you're coming on Thursday:(.
You could try Flying Fish (http://www.flyingfish.com.au/), great views and great food, although you will pay for both.
Have you got any sort of food in mind? Probably might open a few more options up.

Thanks. Not much in mind really - just something that lets me know I am in Australia, as I will only be there for 9 hours or so!
I do enjoy seafood, and views - although perhaps I should have a wet and a dry weather option!
Again - many thanks in advance for your suggestions - I will let you know what I chose and what I thought of it...

While I'd certainly defer to the Aussies, early on in our four trips to Australia and the past three OzFests, we discovered the popularity of the Yum Cha (http://sydney.citysearch.com.au/restaurants/displayRoundUpDetail/1119945819575/1137543997130) lunch, i.e. Dim Sum.

My mum and a friend recently had a late dinner at the new Rockpool Bar & Grill. It's Neil Perry's newest restaurant. My mum who was not a big Rockpool fan thought the food at the new place was actually very good. She was also mightily impressed by the dining room. I reckon give that a shot.^

You could try Doyle's Seafood at the end of the Overseas Passenger Terminal, situated literally between the Bridge and the Opera House. Food is quite good, not terribly expensive, and you couldnt possibly find a better location to "let you know you're in Sydney", IMO.

I have responded to this in the Qantas forum ...
I also voted for Rockpool Bar & Grill - easy train from the airport to circular quay, possibly the best dining room in Australia, definitely the best wine list in Australia, and one of the best steaks in Australia. You can go casual and get a burger at the bar too ...
My other vote was for Icebergs at Bondi. 30 minute cab ride from the airport, fantastic food and fantastic views over Bondi Beach.
