Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Something Amiss With CX Website?

I just noticed that the CX website under the 'Our Fleet' section now identifies the various a/c types by its code (e.g. under A330-300 it now lists seating according to 330, 33B and 333 types and the A340-300 as 34B, 34C and 34D).
However, what is strange is that CX104 (ADL/MEL/HKG) which I understand is supposed to operate as a 33B now shows as type 333. When I checked, this flight only operates with C & Y??
As the 333 is a 3-class a/c, would this mean that it operates as a defacto 2-class or could it be that the website still needs to be updated to reflect the 33B operating on the route (i.e. only part of the website has been updated so far).
I also had a look at CX838/9 which is currently showing as a 343 rather than 34D.

Seems you are not traveling on CX enough yet. CX is famous for random / last minute substitution for short / medium haul and you don't trust what aircraft / seat / product you will be having until you on board. In addition as in recession time, F is not occupied that much anyway so higher rate of sub-ing may happen
If CX is sub-ing a 3 class plane for a 2 class route, it is reported that the F section will be open to elites upon check-in, and sometime part of the J-cabin to be converted to Y cabin service (e.g. HKG - CTS)
For more accurate seat information, always try dummy booking J-class without logging in and check the layout if it is the renewed J or the old J in order to tell what plane will be operating

I know the F cabin will be open for elites in J class, but J cabin and Y service? Is this something new?

For CX 2580 / CX 2581 Charter or some charter service: Yes
For some KA flight : I think I saw it here recently
For Other flight ... it seems safer take my word back. sorry the inconvenience

Not sure about CX, but on KA I've sat in J while being in "Y", I think it was scheduled as a two-class flight and a three-class A330 was flying the route that day

Keep in mind that the Northern Winter (NW) 09 schedule has yet to be updated so therefore depending on the month/day that you looked at you might see incorrect configuration.
The information in the Northern Summer schedule (which is valid to last Sunday of October), however, should be correct.

This may explain it. I had a further look and it appears that 333 is indicated only for the Northern Winter. Up until end of October 2009 and from end of March 2010 it shows as 33B.
Hopefully CX104/5 will get updated for NW as I would like to try the 33B rather than the 333. Also given that you cannot book F on ADL or MEL flights and CX publicises the new seats and AVOD on ADL flights, I thought it was strange that a 3 class a/c would be scheduled over this period.
Any idea when NW would be updated?

No, CX charter flights to ports such as CTS often sell J class seats with Y service.
