Hilton HHonors - Breakfast at the various Hilton Brands

I'm looking for details about what type of breakfast (if any) or other meals each of Hilton's brands offer (either for general guests or elites). Here's what I've found so far. Let me know if you can fill in any blanks or if there are corrections to be made.

Hilton: Continental** Breakfast (Gold or Diamond*)
Conrad: Continental** Breakfast (Gold or Diamond*)
DoubleTree: Continental Breakfast (Gold or Diamond*)
Embassy Suites: Full Breakfast Buffet, Evening Drinks
Hampton Inn: Continental Breakfast with 1-2 hot items
Hilton Garden Inn: Hot Made To Order Breakfast (Gold or Diamond*)
Hilton Grand Vacations: ?
Home2 Suites: Continental Breakfast
Homewood Suites: Hot Breakfast, Dinner Mon-Thu
Waldorf=Astoria: None**

You may want to point out that breakfast offerings for gold and diamond HHonors guests depends on the My Way selections at HGI and the full service properties.

Keeton is right. Breakfast is not part of the normal benefits of Hilton, HGI, Conrad, or DT unless you picked it as your MyWay choice (upgrade/breakfast).

Breakfast is not part of the VIP benefits at the W-As. So no breakfast W-A.

Embassy Suites has a fantastic full breakfast buffet with made to order omelets and pancakes.

Hampton Inns has a continental breakfast, with 1-2 hot items which usually consist of sausage patties, biscuits, egg disks, or beef hash.

Homewood has a decent breakfast usually with made to order eggs.

HGI (MyWay benefit) full breakfast with made to order eggs/omelets.

Hiltons (MyWay benefit)
USA: usual continental fare - yogurt, cereals, bagels (usually on the old side), toast, fruit & juices.
Intl: mostly usual continental fare in UK (some with egges) but often a few hot dishes native to the country you're staying in, e.g Greece fish and tiny breakfast sausages. The Prague Hilton has one of the best EL breakfasts - full buffet with made to order eggs/omelets (yes the lounge!).
Never chose DT upgrade/brkft MyWay option - so can't answer this.

Breakfast in lounge is generally extensive and includes hot and cold items. Conrad Tokyo lounge has a chef preparing eggs and omelets to order. Conrad Hong Kong will have the kitchen prepare you items not on the buffet (e.g. poached eggs, Belgian waffles).

Last stay in Conrad been awhile, can't remember the breakfast. Chicago and Miami is a continental or $14 credit off the menu. I believe the Waldorf NYC is the same, but rarely do breakfast their.

Conrad Dublin offers the full Irish breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, beans, black and white pudding (ick), and tomatoes. And they have the usual cold buffet items as well on offer.

Most Hampton only has biscuits + gravy and fake eggs, occasionally breakfast pizza, I have yet to see one has sausage patties, real egg, or beef hash. For the record, I have been to 30+ HI.

Never seen made-to-order eggs either, even at those award Homewoods. Homewood always has scramble eggs.

Hilton Grand Vacations @ Las Vegas Hilton provides a $10 coupon for use in their ground floor convenience store. It had been per stay, but the last time I stayed there (as a Diamond), I got two coupons for two nights.

Embassy Suites has cooked-to-order eggs, perhaps that's what was intended instead of Homewood?

The Doubletrees with which I'm familiar:
Continental items only (coffee, but no juice) @ Portland (Lloyd Center)
$10 credit towards their full (mediocre) buffet - that ends up as $6 after tax/tip @ Seattle Airport, the $10 credit can also be used at their lobby espresso stand for a better value.
Doubletree Arctic in Downtown Seattle offers (pathetic) continental "selection", or menu credit. Take the points instead!

Portland Hilton gives continental items only from buffet (includes coffee and juice), or credit ($12?) towards a menu item.

Properties will vary the benefit even further for elites. E.g. Doubletrees (like SFO/Burlingame and Los Angeles/Commerce that will give chits for full breakfast,) may provide full buffet breakfasts, as may a number of Hiltons and Conrads (e.g. Hilton Fremont, Mainz, and many more.)

Very comprehensive breakfast at MAN last week - including haggis (!). I discovered a new taste treat - smoked salmon on a fried slice. Cost if you have to pay for full English was £18.95, which I feel is excessive.

At HGI YMMV. I have points picked at MyWay but have always gotten breakfast to. Not an expectation, but always just given.

Same here. Two $10 coupons for 2 nights. I still got 2 coupons for 3 nights at another time, though.

I saw them too. Also saw occasional link sausages. The ham was ok but beware of the sausage patties and links. They are made with mechanically processed pork and can have mucho pieces of nasty sharp pork bone.

Don't be misled by the picture of the smiling hostess pouring coffee from her carafe -- you get it yourself!

You are correct about the offerings.

I stayed at my first Hilton Garden Inn (in Annapolis) a couple nights ago, and breakfast was some of the best I've had at any Hilton hotels. A small buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pastries, fruit, cereal, bagels, yougart, and more, plus cooked to order omelets, pancakes, and eggs.

As Gold (with breakfast chosen for MyWay), all four of us got free breakfasts. The room was about $100 after taxes, so free breakfast for four is a huge benefit.

I just hit $40k YTD on my HH Surpass Amex, so I should be Diamond for my next stay. We have another 5-6 hotels booked in the next two months.

I'm liking Hilton more and more.
