Hi to all. This is my 1st post so bear with me.
Being leery of current credit card practices, I'm looking for advice on switching from our current Amex MR Gold Card for Small business to their Aeroplan Corporate Card. Amex contacted us. One advantage I like is that the liability on the new card rests with the company - not the primary cardholder as is the current situation. We've had it for 10+ years.
We get to keep our nearly 200K of points. I was worried they'd cancel them but they assure me that is not the case. We do lose the advantage of accumulating points from all the cardholders into one big pot. Points earned will be attributed to each individual card holder.
The points can be used for any airline of our choice :). Air Canada is the only airline that serves us but we can drive to other airports when needed so we don't want to be restricted to just AC. The other Rewards offered don't do us much good so we prefer to use points for airfare and hotels.
Are there any traps here that I'm not seeing?
