Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - APT Tours of Australia - is prepurchasing a SSnS pass in North America worth it?

I plan to take a few tours in Australia.
Is it best to purchase the tour tickets from APT or other companies locally, or get the SSnS pass (with the 35% discount - see link below) in North America?

Sightsee'n'Save is sold in multiples of four (4) full day tours. So, you will save if you take exactly four tours. Some day tours are charged at 1.5 days, so you would have to determine what to do with only one day tour left. Yes, they are a good deal if you can live with this restriction.

We can not buy extra coupons either in North America or in Australia?
If we do not buy the SSnS 4 coupon booklet, we may be able to book through APT locally in Australia, but pay a full rate (ie a 35% premium for North Amerians?)?

In North America, Yes, but only in multiples of 4. They are not available in Australia.

I believe so, however, why don't you call them? They have a toll free phone number for North America.
Where can I buy this pass? I am from Canada.
Here are the tours the offer

I used them for a couple of tours and was pleasantly surprised. I expected big bus tours, but two of the three were manageable with about 10-12 passengers. I felt like the drivers actually put in a bit more effort than your average tour director. On one tour, we went over by about 2 hours as the driver wanted to make sure everyone's requests were met.
In the end, I probably save about 20-25%, but as I had planned to see specific sites, it was well worth it as I did not have to drive or do any preparatory work on how to get to the sites.
It's not 35 percent, but I've often gotten (most recently in Perth after a bus tour of the Margaret Valley) discount vouchers with a tour good for 10-20 percent off the cost of another tour with the same company. If you're on the fence, or think you'll only use 3 or so of the 4 days' credit, keep in mind that not getting this pass probably doesn't mean giving up all hope of a discount.

The Canadians get a larger discount than the Americans. Taking account the exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollar, the cost of the 4 coupon booklet to a Canadian is at least 10% cheaper than it is to an American - as the cost of the 4 coupon booklet offered to Canadians and Americans is different!
Sometimes the APT coupon adds an otherwise optional item on the tour on a complentary basis. For example, for the Reef Magic cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, the basic morning (AUD $40 per person) snorkeling group session was included.
