On the website Hertz still lists G35/G37 for the Infiniti. Do they still have the G35? I thought that was an old model, shouldn't the cars be replaced by now?
I am looking at reserving at one of the locations of Hertz in California.

In 2008 there were two G series, the 37 which defined the 2 door and the 35 that defined the 4 door. In 2009, both models became the 37. That said, there are still 2008 vehicles in the fleet so it is possible, however most likely you'll be given a 37.

Thanks for clarifying. So was the 2-door 2008 G37 more powerful than the 4-door 2008 G35?
I rented an Audi A6 last year, but it looks like it is either sold out or for other reasons not available for booking on the website (LAX or SFO). Think I will try the G37 as it is more powerful and a lot cheaper than the Audi.

The 37 is 24 hp more powerful then the 35 that it replaced (2 door or 4 door) with 330 in the 37 and 306 in the 35. Honestly though either engine is more then it needs, they are very quick cars.
Not the 37 or 35 denote the engine size (3.7 versus 3.5 liter).
