JetBlue TrueBlue - FLL-CUN/SDQ routes launched - Sale fares offered

The FLL-SDQ and FLL-CUN routes launched today. Apparently the loads are desperately low, particularly on the CUN route, as they are offering a sale of $30 each way plus tax for travel from July 14 - October 6. SDQ is on sale fro $69.

For travel between Fort Lauderdale and Cancun and/or Santo Domingo: travel must be booked by June 26, 2009, 11:59 PM MT. Travel must take place between July 14, 2009 and October 6, 2009. Travel must be completed by October 6, 2009. Travel must take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Saturday.

I don't believe it. This is not good at all for poorly performance. So B6 might to have cancelled the flight out of FLL-SDQ/CUN. I remember where DL is inaugural for FLL-SDQ by 2 years ago but, it was being discontinuation due to poorly performance. It wasn't doing quite very well. It was already drop this route back on September 1, 2007. I think it need to bring more passengers connecting the flight coming from north. The schedules will have to be adjustable the time.

Let's face it, this is not a great time to be launching a new CUN flight.

Wow, this FLL-CUN RT flight comes out to ~$114 all in with the paypal deal. I hope over time B6 does well on this route...
