Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Is Orbitz Hotel Review dead or they are just blocking bad review

We booked the STAY hotel in downtown Los Angles in May via Orbitz.com. The experience was horrible. The room was dirty (first night we had dirty towel with something like lipstick mark and the second day it seemed like the staff forgot her even dirtier towel on the nightstand ) and very little amenity. We just left and ended up staying with friend instead.

After we returned home, Orbitz sent us a link to write the review for the hotel. I was very careful (and did spend some time) to just describe what we had experience hoping people reading the review will understand what they get. (It is really just a hostel instead of 3 star hotel).

After two weeks of waiting, the review was not posted. So I contacted Orbitz email customer service but was told they were not responsible for the review. I'd have to call the customer service instead. So I called and the first customer service didn't even know what hotel review is. I asked to speak to the supervisor since what's the point talking to someone who didn't know what I tried to inquiry  The supervisor was nice but still could not do anything about it. She said she will forward it to the people who is responsible for the hotel review and they should contact us within one week.

Another week and half just passed, I still don't hear anything from Orbitz. It really makes me wonder if the hotel review system still alive or Orbitz just don't like customer writing bad review about the hotel :td:

Why not post your review on TripAdvisor? You'd probably have a wider audience there.
