Alitalia MilleMiglia - How to add FF# to AZ record, or even bring up that record

I'm booked on a tour that uses AZ. Have the itin, confirmation number (AZ and Amadeus) but can't bring up my record on Alitalia.com. I want to add my Plat Elite Plus # to the record in order to get FF miles, status miles, preferred seating, upgrade possibilities, etc. Tour company tells me I need do this at check in at JFK, but I'm flying 8 hours before getting to JFK gateway, and on a completely different airline. When I call AZ they can't be bothered. Email no response. How can I be assured they have my FF# and will fairly dispense all the miles/perq's etc, that I am entitled, if I can't see it on the res?

This cannot be done on Alitalia.com. It can be done over the phone or at the airport. Other airlines can feed the number to AZ when you check in.
