I have a flights coming up later in the week from LHR via NBO to ADD on KQ.
I'm wondering if anyone has some insight about KQ's normal policy of holding connecting flights if the inbound is a little late. I have a little more than an hour for the connection, and they did book it as a legal connect.
Also, am travelling in business if that helps with getting the bags out-- but my main worry is a delay out of London.

That is a tight connection. Priority tags do not work with KQ, so your bags may not make it. When I travel to DAR or EBB or MBA, our flight has been held up for connecting passengers, so I should think there would be no problem.
Safe travels.

Given that this is Kenya, I would imagine that if you bring along a few GBP or USD to "tip" the staff, you might be able to increase the probability of a favorable outcome.

corruption is not working anymore is Africa,:p,
Roadwarriorafrica is right, with one flight per day, on average to the continental african destination, KQ prefer to wait the connecting passengers

Well, a little late for posting this, but after Ethiopia I was in Nepal, so the IT connections wer less than great.
The result was that the flight from LHR was late, and although I made the connection-- my bags didn't. However, once I was in Addis, they were found in the computer and I was told they would be on the evening flight.
They did come as scheduled, and the only real downside is that Addis doesn't have the facility to deliver to the hotel-- I was lucky in having a local guide who did the pick-up and saved me the trip back to Bole at nite.
