Since flyertalker Bobbybrown brought up the note of re-configured Boeing 777-200ER at this post (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/11906017-post69.html), I did some check and the routes which the Version 3* 777-200ER is operating are the following, as of 15JUN09. And this has not yet appear on my blog at the time of this posting.

*Note that I'm calling the latest configuration of 772ER as "Version 3".

Thanks for the detailed research on KE's damn-finally new configuration. It seems one 772 is to be upgraded per month from late October to Feb 2010, at least for the first 4 aircrafts. Finally ICN-NRT-LAX sees refurbished version, as well as DFW. Yay. Let's keep an eye for 333/332 and 773 which are expected to be upgraded next year.

It seems the first 3rd-version-777 goes to CGK daily from October 2nd. And from some point, this one will go PVG, the morning flight (x35), before CGK in the afternoon. (ICN-PVG-ICN-CGK-ICN) And as OP said, this one goes mainly SEA/IAD from late OCT while CGK is to run by Version 2 772.

KE is upgrading CGK overall in terms of hardware, because Garuda is about to come into this market. Garuda tried to open direct ICN-CGK early this month, but denied by Korean government in the last minute due to some safety issue around Garuda airline. Now they are trying to launch sometime in August.

Do anyone know that which reg. of 772 will be the first one for version 3?

First 772 3rd version's flight is October 2nd, and HL7530 has disappeared since September 1st after ICN-GUM-ICN flight at Aug 31st night. I guess this one went for refurbishing work, which seems a month work.
