Didn't see this posted here yet but I just received a Regus Gold Card with 2 free personal office vouchers through VS Flyingclub Gold.
Pretty good benefit that I will use and makes me happy that I chose the personal card over the business cent card
Also sent to holders of the Virgin Atlantic American Express card issued by Bank of America...

There are two versions of this card. Not sure if it was sent to holders of the white (no annual fee) variety.

Not a big fan of Regus ever since I received an $800 invoice in the mail from one of their offices somewhere in New York. Called up and apparently someone who works for my company (40K employees worldwide) used my account. No one there could explain why or how it happened (given I've never set foot in this office). They required me to send a letter to reverse the charges.
I called to cancel my membership with the Regus home office the same day. They said the can't cancel over the phone, have to do it by email. Took a week and 4 emails, but was able to cancel it.
They have some work to do on their internal controls.

Methinks Regus are somewhat desperate for business - the offer went out to Flying Club Gold and Silver members, as well as people with the paid for MBNA VS card. Silver status is obscenely easy to obtain.

There was an ad somewhere for the new partnership between Virgin and Regus. If you have a Regus office you get comp access to Virgin Clubhouse etc. I guess its just part of the package Virgin negotiated - I'd imagine right now many small business are going belly up, but then again I am sure many people have decided to set up their own new businesses having been layed off and Regus is a good place to start....... who knows.

Just to be clear, Regus has nothing to do with airport lounges. Regus is a network for "offices for rent" targeted at businesses, big or small. You can rent anything from a meeting room for a half a day to a week, or month, to a virtual office address (mail forwarding) to a receptionist and full back office. All for a fee.
Your Centurion card or VS Flyingclub Gold status gets you into an airport lounge.

I think that you are right. Regus Gold cards seem to grow on trees at the moment; I have lost count of the number of times I have been offered one recently. I recently negotiated two Gold cards from Regus as part of a completely unrelated transaction of very little value (one card for me and another for a colleague) and they actually sent three cards; two for me and one for a colleague.
They clearly see these cards as a means of promoting their business; once people come through their doors and literally become bums-on-seats they become a captive audience for their sales patter.

My understanding was that Regus Gold got you and your guest access to AA and DL lounges across the US. So if you were VS Gold, you now have access to other airline lounges here.
The website had 3 levels of regus membership. The Gold was $300 per year.

Again, I don't believe this is so, can you post a link? There's all kinds of offers to get Gold if you're an elite flyer in Delta, VS and others, but the Regus site does not list Airport lounge access as a perq.

Membership in American Airline's Admirals Club includes a Regus businessworld Gold membership...

...but it is not a reciprocal membership. Regus members do not gain access to Admirals Clubs, except in those cases where Regus meeting rooms are physically located in an Admirals Clubs. See, for example, this Regus listing for the Admirals Club at Miami International Airport which explicitly states "Meeting Rooms Only"...

The Regus Gold membership does not provide free use of meeting rooms, it merely gives you the opportunity to rent one.

..... at a 10% discount - the same rate of discount as is given to holders of the Regus Blue card, which is free.
Having said that, anyone who pays anything like the list price for any Regus product at the moment is a mug. As things are Regus will discount any of their services heavily with virtually no pushing. You should be able to get a much better discount than that without any flavour of Regus card.
