Air New Zealand Air Points - LAX - are the lounge / showers available to both arriving and departing flyers?

I'm very excited to be flying Business Premier LAX-AKL-LAX in a week or so.

As I plan my connecting flights, will I be able to shower traveling in both directions?

Is there often a wait for a shower suite?

NZ has no arrivals lounges.

LAX-AKL you have lounge access in LAX, but not in AKL (unless onward same day *A flight). LAX lounge has great showers.

AKL-LAX you have lounge access in AKL, but not in LAX. AKL lounge has good showers - even an iron.

Once upon a time there were horrendous waits at LAX for the showers esp if flying lhr-lax-akl but things are now much better.

I have never waited for a shower in AKL. It is not exactly transit capitol of the world.

If you are connecting to an internal ANZ flight, you should be able to access the Koru lounge at the domestic terminal at AKL, they have showers there too.
