I passed through the LHR station this morning, and to my great astonishment, the #1 board was working, and they even had cars available. Usually, I have to wait in line 30 minutes for a surly #1 kiosk employee to tell me to bugger off, as they have no cars, and to wait until they do.
This broke a streak of 4 straight visits in which I had to wait 30+ minutes for a car. This is good news, as Hertz is the only internation car hire vendor that my company authorises. Let's see if they can make it 2 visits in a row in a couple of weeks.
