I found that thanks to exchange rates GPB vs. EUR booking via www.auto-europe.co.uk is the most valuable way to get the best rate.
But if you use www.auto-europe.co.uk and on the first page change "Your Country of Residence" you'll be immediately redirected to your national web-site which is more expensive (I've been checked almost all of them). Additionally you'll even can face with the situation when the car can't be provided in selected station - for example in Baden-Baden airport (FKB), even if you can rent the car in the same place on UK Auto Europe web-site.
Of course you can state that you have UK residence and on the end step f booking change it into your real. But in my opinion it's not fair and potentially you can be rejected on the counter.
Finally I found nice way to get the quote in GBP without cheating - you should follow via this link (http://scripts.affiliatefuture.com/AFClick.asp?affiliateID=180521&merchantID=2197&programmeID=5857&mediaID=0&tracking=&url=) (using the affiliate but YOU DON'T PAY MORE, because affiliate receives the commission from merchant).
