Hertz - Booking #1 award for a one month rental?

Hi all,

I have 6000+ #1 awards points and I need to rent a Hertz vehicle for a 1 month rental this summer. I was hoping to apply some of them and purchase the rest. However the woman on the phone today said that they could only book trips of one week maximum duration, so I would have to return the car every week (not practical).

Any ways around this?

Not that I can think of.

I'd save the points for one-way rentals or prestige rentals. Multiple weekly rates combining a $50 off coupon and a good CDP (AAA/FF) is probably your best bet.
