I am flying to Moscow fairly soon and have the choice between C on LH, OS or LX. Are there any opinions whether any of them do a better job (aside from their usual service standards), e.g. if there was an LH Airbus 300 with those good business seats I'd be much inclined to choose them over the others....any hints or is it really all the same?
Thanks

Gee, how can one post a question like this and expect an informative answer without mentioning their starting point...

Mate, it's obvious that I'd take a flight from Vienna to OS, Zurich/Geneva (if there is one) on LX or FRA/MUC/wherever on LH, since it's obvious OS does not fly HAM-Moscow or the like....
Where I am starting from is irrelevant, I am also not sure yet as I don't have my schedule for that week finished. But in case that's somehow important to you or you think the onboard service of the flight to Moscow changes somehow if you start the journey in different cities, it's probably either HAM, TXL or DRS....

If you fly VIE-DME, I would take OS. For ZRH-DME I would take LX and for FRA-DME I would fly LH. :D
I would fly with the airline, which fits best into my schedule.

So many things "obvious" to you... Since you sound like you know everything, it is ...obvious to me that you don't need any help. ^

I had the opportunity to fly all three airlines on this route, and without any doubt, the vote would go to Austrian. Much better pre-flight service (e.g. nicer lounge in DME) as well as inflight service...

Wow, what a tone... ;) :td:
For me it just obvious, that for such a short jump I would not care a dime about differences between LH, LX and OS. Connection time, overall schedule and flexible options matter much more, e.g. when rebooking or delays happen.

Because only 9 FT'ers have sufficeint experience to answer the question but 141 are interested in the subject. Seems obvious to me .
